Niseko was one of a litter of four orange/white kittens named after Japanese ski resorts.  The others were Teine, Furano, and Appi.  Appi has been adopted and Niseko is left with only sister Teine (or Tiny) and brother Furano.  Niseko is the eldest sister of the four and she is very friendly.  She is OK with male cats, but is quite selective about other female cats.  Ideally, she should be the only cat of the house.
